Applications for B.Tech 2027 will start in November.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has not appointed any Agent or Third-Party Client for offering admission to any programme. Students are hereby requested not to fall victim by paying advance to reserve B.Tech seats at any of the Amrita campuses.

The Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2027 is a national-level computer-based entrance examination for admission to B.Tech programmes at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
AEEE 2027 will be conducted between April 15th and May 7th 2027.
Students appearing for Class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2027, subject to the prescribed eligibility criteria, can register for AEEE 2027. The admission process includes AEEE 2027 Registration, slot booking, Admit Card download, attend AEEE, and participation in the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) based on the candidate’s performance.
Candidates can also seek B.Tech admission through their JEE Main percentile. Students may apply through both AEEE and JEE Main pathways, providing them with greater flexibility in the admission process to get a scholarship seat.
The AEEE is a computer-based test of 2.5 hours, conducted in English. The question paper covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Quantitative Aptitude, with questions presented in multiple-choice format. The examination is conducted at test centres across 100+ cities.

Marks: Each correct answer carries 3 marks; each wrong answer carries a penalty of −1(minus one) mark.
Candidates, whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2005.
A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), with at least 50% in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics individually.
Candidates appearing in any one of the following examinations are eligible to secure admission in B.Tech at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham:
Interested candidates can register online for AEEE 2026 by clicking on “Register Now” button. Candidates must fill out personal information and academic profile and pay 1300/- to complete the registration. Once registered for AEEE 2026, candidates can also opt to apply with JEE Mains percentile without paying any additional fees.
AEEE 2026 will be conducted in 2 phases. It is NOT mandatory to attend both the phases. If a candidate wishes to attend Phase 2 after attending Phase 1, he/she has to pay INR 600/-. In general, Phase 1 can be attended to test the skills and understanding and the same can be improved in Phase 2.
B.Tech Scholarships are awarded to the top candidates registering for Centralised Seat Allotment Process with AEEE 2026 Ranks OR JEE Mains 2026 Percentile. The Centralised Seat Allotment Process is conducted after the publication of AEEE 2026 ranks. There is no rank range to avail scholarship. More than 70% seats are earmarked in scholarship category. Scholarship seats are earmarked separately for AEEE and JEE candidates.
Admission to B.Tech programmes offered at all the campuses is based on the rank scored in Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2026 OR JEE Mains 2026 Percentile Score. Candidates with AEEE 2026 Rank OR JEE Mains 2026 Percentile Score shall register for the Centralised Seat Allotment Process to be held in May 2026.
OCI / PIO Students:
Foreign passport holders of Indian origin, whose parent/s or siblings also hold OCI/PIO status. AEEE / JEE is not mandatory for admission.
Non-Resident Indians (NRI):
Indian citizens who completed their qualifying (10+2 or equivalent) exams abroad, with parent/s or siblings holding NRI status. AEEE / JEE is not mandatory for admission.
NRI-Sponsored Students:
Candidates studying in India, sponsored by their parent/s or sibling with NRI status (must appear for AEEE/JEE where applicable).
